The Aveley Community Hub is currently being built on the Aveley Recreation Ground. It is due to open January 2020.
The Hub will include a small coffee and snack bar operating within the library and hub shared space. We expect to serve snacks and drinks, potentially up to six days a week at core opening hours. This is a non-commercial venture which will be developed with volunteers through the Aveley Hub Partnership. The offer will be central to the welcoming ethos of the hub. We are interested to hear from any organisation currently running a community café with a connection to Aveley that may want to work alongside us to support this opportunity.
