ECF are recruiting new trustees to contribute to their work and help deliver their 5-year strategy.
As one of the UK’s leading community foundations, EDF’s mission is to inspire philanthropy and charitable giving – matching people, ideas, resources and needs to make a lasting difference. Each year they inspire charitable giving from donors in Essex and support local communities with around £4 million of grant funding.
As a charity for Essex, they want to recruit new trustees who live or work in Essex, Southend or Thurrock, and are particularly interested to hear from people from the south and west of the county.
ECF are looking for people who have experience in the charity sector, in accountancy in financial services or investment management, in marketing and communications.
They also want to ensure that their board reflects the diversity of those who form the communities that they support and so particularly welcome interest and applications from people of colour, people under 40 years of age, and LGBT+ people.
This could be your first trustee role, you may have been a trustee before or are currently a trustee of another organisation. Whatever your level of experience, they want to hear from you. Read their Trustee Recruitment Pack for more information and how to apply.
