Addressing the policing of the BME community in Thurrock

We are pleased the Thurrock Police Chief Inspector is attending this event.
The is the first conversation with the police focussing solely on the BAME community in Thurrock.
Our research has shown that there is a wide range of mistrust at the moment between the BME community and the police.
We need to focus efforts to build this relationship and let the BAME community know that the police are there for all residents of Thurrock.
