Green Match Fund Applications open!

2021 is set to be a critical year for the environment and the Green Match Fund campaign will raise funds for environmental charities and help to increase public awareness about these crucial issues. The campaign will run from 22nd April (World Earth Day) and end on 29th April.
If you are an environmental charity, we want to hear from you!

What is it?
The Green Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities which are working on environmental issues as part of their core mission. All public donations made to participating charities via theBigGive.org.uk during the week of the campaign (22-29 April) will be matched up to a specific amount.

Each participating charity will be awarded a ring-fenced amount of match funding which will be used to match public donations – either £2,500, £10,000 or £25,000. Unlike some of the Big Give’s other campaigns (e.g. Christmas Challenge), all match funding is provide by our Champions – charities do not need to secure their own pledges for the campaign. Charities are able to raise unrestricted funds.

Match funding is being provided by The Big Give’s Champions which include The Reed Foundation, Garfield Weston Foundation and a number of other philanthropists and funders. (Philanthropists or funders who are interested in becoming a Champion can contact the Big Give)
