Thurrock CVS would like to wish a very happy retirement to Barbara Rice who is retiring this week after a long and rewarding Career in Thurrock.
Barbara’s journey with Thurrock CVS began as a Social Prescribing Navigator in November 2016, she later landed the role of Healthwatch Thurrock Operational Manager in March 2019.
Throughout her time in Thurrock Barbara has continued to be a fantastic ‘voice of the people’ with a strong drive and passion to make sure everyone’s voices were heard.
Barbara said “The highlights of my working life have been many, I have really enjoyed being busy and active and wouldn’t change a thing, from nursing to working as a Social prescriber, and Healthwatch Thurrock my roles have been many, but all to do with Health and Social care and hopefully improving the experience and lives of others.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed working for the last five years within the Voluntary sector at TCVS where I have met some truly dedicated people.
“I move on now to another chapter in my life and would like to thank all my past colleagues for making my working life a pleasure.”
