On Saturday 7th August our Community Builder, Richard, attended the Morrisons Community Carnival, where he spent the day interacting with many community groups, volunteers and residents.
Richard said “There were over 100 residents in attendance and there was a really good atmosphere as people mingled and took part in the various activities. It was great to see Mayor of Thurrock, Sue Shinnick, who was also present and spoke with local residents at the event.
“Sam did a great job, and deserves all the praise for pulling it off in such short notice.”
Sam Ralph, Morrisons Corringham Community Champion said “We raised a brilliant £570 for Morrisons Charity Partner Young Lives vs Cancer, the Carnival was a huge success and I am so pleased with how well we did.”
