World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September

Mental Health UK – World Suicide Prevention Day is hosted on 10 September each year by the International Association for Suicide Prevention and provides the opportunity for people, across the globe, to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention.

The message is clear – we’re asking you to help us create hope through action, by reflecting on how you can support someone in your life who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts or at risk of suicide. Encouraging understanding and sharing experiences creates a society where people have the confidence to take action, building hope for the future.

If your club, group or organisation helped to raise awareness this week, please send us your pictures. We’d love to see them. Email: socialmedia@thurrockcvs.org

A massive thank you to The Pyramid Resource Centre for their fantastic donation of the green decorations.
