On Tuesday 12th September Riverside Community Big Local held an event to mark Suicide Prevention Week. This offered a discussion space where individuals felt safe to share their personal experiences, learned about local support and how to access free training.
Renae Laybourn (Board member of RCBL) said “I am proud to have been part of the Suicide prevention event in Grays High street on Tuesday. A real example of partnership working with Riverside Big Local coordinating the event supported by Morrisons, Healthwatch, Thurrock Mind, Inclusions Recovery College and Adult Social Care teams. It is such a difficult topic for people yet they opened up, shared their experiences and were keen to access free training to feel more confident in the future“.
