About the Back on Track project:
Tilbury on the Thames Trust are working towards a February 2024 submission to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, asking for £3.4M to create year round access to the Grade II* Riverside Station with a new café space and outdoor seating and creative lets, alongside an exhibition to tell the stories of those who lived, worked and travelled through Tilbury. If successful in securing investment, we anticipate these works to be completed in 2026.

As part of refurbishment plans there is an opportunity to provide affordable creative studio space.
