Thurrock Centre for Independent Living will be facilitating a new 8 week course to build confidence with using numbers in everyday life, called Calcul8, the details of which are:
Start Date: Wednesday 7th February 2024 from 1pm until 2.30pm weekly until Wednesday 27th March 2024 inclusive (8 weeks total).
Venue: Back of Beehive Community Hall, West Street, Grays RM17 6XP.
The course is designed around the tasks and activities that use numbers in everyday life, and will cover things like weighing and measuring, money matters and budgeting, in a relaxing and fun environment to build confidence and reduce the fear and stigma often associated with ‘Maths’.
