The Tilbury Walking Club have been strolling now since 5th June 2025! The group members noticed there was a lot of rubbish on the streets so decided to support keeping their town tidy by dedicating one of their weekly walks a month to litter picking an area! On Thursday 3rd July they had their first tidying walk where 10 bags were filled by a group of 12 people!
The club will be doing this on the 1st Thursday of each month, 10:30am – 11:30am, meeting at Tilbury Library and Hub, so go along for a chat, to get your steps up & to support your local community, plus a complimentary hot drink once completed – equipment provided and everyone is welcome.
