Thurrock Youth Wellbeing Grant

The Thurrock Youth Wellbeing Grants will support projects that promote the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people aged 10–16 in Thurrock. The fund will prioritise projects that focus on prevention, early intervention, and community-based support, specifically targeting children and young people most at risk of poor mental health outcomes.

2 Single year grants of £10,000 will be available for revenue costs for projects running for 12 months for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations that are co-producing with young people or delivering services in underrepresented or underserved areas or Borough wide services.

One 3.5 year grant of £120,000 will be available for revenue costs for projects running for 42 months to deliver a long term, sustainable service offer by voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations that are co-producing with young people or delivering services in underrepresented or underserved areas or Borough wide services. Projects which use innovative or creative approaches (e.g., arts, drama, digital resilience) are encouraged. Strong partnership or referral pathways (e.g. Schools, Community and Voluntary Groups, Family Hubs, CAMHS) will be viewed favourably, for example utilising the Frontline Digital Library.
