An overview of the Prevent Duty and how it applies to voluntary and community organisations.
What are permissive environments?
An introduction to what is meant by “permissive environments” and how certain spaces can unintentionally be used in ways they were not intended.
Why are permissive environments an issue?
Exploring why awareness matters, how risks can arise, and the importance of having simple safeguards in place — without creating unnecessary barriers for communities. Advice, guidance and top tips for community venue hire and practical tips to help you feel confident when hiring out your space, including:
