We offer a wide range of services for local organisations of all shapes and sizes at all stages of their development.
These services range from one-to-one support, through to training and networking opportunities.

The support we offer aims to encourage a strong, empowered and effective voluntary, community,
faith and social enterprise sector that work to improve the lives for the citizens of Thurrock.
Support available includes:
Setting up a charity or new group
We can help if you are about to start a new community organisation, trying to develop your trustees (or management committee), seeking funding for a specific service, or need help with managing people or premises.
Organisational development support
We provide our development support in one to one sessions. We can also deliver help through training sessions, workshops and surgeries.
We offer annual Organisation health checks; these can be used by organisations and groups that are setting up and those that are established. If you are setting up a new group, club or voluntary organisation you can use the health checklist to concentrate your planning on areas you should address from the start to ensure the success of your organisation. If your group is already set up, you can use the health check to take stock and review your activities. Either way the check can help you plan how you will manage any changes needed to become, or continue as, a successful and well-run organisation. It will also help identify areas where you may need support.
Funding
We know how important funding is and we provide a number of ways to help increase the funding potential of your organisation.
This support includes:
• Search for suitable funding
• Review your funding applications
• Explore new fundraising options for your organisation
To check out our funding database which is full of the latest funding opportunities and keep track of upcoming deadlines
