Giving for Thurrock Day 2019
The first Giving for Thurrock Day took place on 29 March 2019 and saw hundreds of people take part. Along with fundraising, community spirited people spent time doing good deeds and helping people across Thurrock.
More importantly, the pledges, fun and donations were shared through Facebook and Twitter helping to spread the word and celebrate all the good things happening on the day.
Pledges came in for the day and beyond and we will continue to update on how much was raised and what people did on the day over the next couple of weeks.
No donation of money, time or thought was too small or went unnoticed.
Thank you to everyone who took part. Keep sharing and “giving”, it doesn’t have to be just for the day! @gifthurrock #thurrockday.
All funds raised go back to the people of Thurrock.
All funds raised will be available to apply for, however, we are taking time to update our application forms and criteria to meet the current need in Thurrock. Check back to see the new application forms in June or follow Giving for Thurrock on Facebook where an announcement will be made.
If you help us to give locally – it stays locally.
