Thurrock CVS is a membership organisation that endeavours to speak up for and act in the interests of its members in all of its work – promoting the interests of local community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises in Thurrock.
Thurrock CVS invites all local community groups, non-profit organisations and charities to become FREE members.

Thurrock CVS provides infrastructure support for Thurrock based VCFSE organisations, and those looking to set up a new VCFSE organisation. This includes:
- Setting up as a new organisation (e.g. community group, CIC or Charity)
- Changing the structure of your organisation (e.g. registering as a CIC or Charity)
- Funding Support (e.g. funding search, funding application review)
- Policy templates & review (templates for new policies or review and update existing policies)
- Organisational Health Check (review of governance and structure, policies, funding, Impact evaluation)
- Volunteer recruitment
- Training support needs
