One of the ways Thurrock CVS supports local communities is by bringing voluntary and community organisations together to share ideas, build connections and strengthen the support available to residents across the borough.
On Tuesday 30 June, we hosted our latest quarterly Sector Networking Brunch, welcoming representatives from voluntary and community organisations across Thurrock. The event provided an opportunity for local groups to discuss the projects they’ve been working on, share news about upcoming activities, and explore ways to work together to better support local people.
After an informal networking session, attendees took part in smaller group discussions, giving organisations the chance to have more meaningful conversations, exchange knowledge and identify opportunities for future collaboration. Events like these help organisations learn from one another, avoid duplication, and develop partnerships that ultimately benefit Thurrock’s communities.
It was fantastic to see so many organisations coming together with a shared commitment to making a positive difference across the borough. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a valuable morning — we’re already looking forward to our next networking event.
