These services range from one-to-one support, through to training and networking opportunities.
The support we offer aims to encourage a strong, empowered and effective voluntary, community,
faith and social enterprise sector that work to improve the lives for the citizens of Thurrock.
Support available includes:
Setting up a charity or new group
We provide governance support and can help if you are about to start a new community organisation, trying to develop your trustees (or management committee), seeking funding for a specific service, or need help with managing people or premises.
Organisational development support
We provide our development support in one to one sessions. We can also deliver help through training sessions, workshops and surgeries.
Funding
We know how important funding is and we provide a number of ways to help increase the funding potential of your organisation.
This support includes:
• Search for suitable funding
• Review your funding applications
• Explore new fundraising options for your organisation

Volunteer Recruitment and Volunteer Management support
Volunteers can bring huge benefits to organisations and make a difference. We can help you to develop and promote your volunteering opportunities, and provide additional information on volunteer management and policies and procedures when needed.
Networking
We provide a range of networking opportunities including our Annual Conference, monthly Let’s Talk sessions and Community Voluntary Sector forums. quarterly Brunches, Workshops and Listening events.
Training
We provide a range of training relevant for the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector and can also signpost you to other providers.
