The Tilbury Riverside Project have organised some guided walks around Thurrock.
All walks start at 10.30am and last between 2-4 hours at an easy pace.
Booking is essential as there are limited spaces.
There are 3 different types:
Green terrain- very easy, wheelchair friendly, good underfoot.
Amber terrain – slight variation in terrain,may have steps.
Red terrain – Rough terrain – stout footwear needed.
Walk Dates:
Thursday 21st April – Looking at art in Grays
meet outside Grays library (Green terrain)
Saturday 7th May – ‘Belhus’, meet at Capability Brown car park (Red terrain)
Thursday 7th July – West Thurrock Pilgrimage, meet outside Ikea store (Amber terrain)
Saturday 20th August – Block to Block,
meet outside TRAAC near Ferry to Tilbury
(Amber terrain)
A suggested donation for the walks is £3 per person.
