
Meet Stanley, he’s 11 years old and lives in Stanford.
During lockdown 2020 Stanley decided to learn the skill of crocheting, self taught from youtube tutorials and clips online. Since then Stanley has continued his new love for crochet and has been posting live facebook videos and free workshops to teach other local residents how to crochet too!
Stanley been busy selling his creations to raise money for good causes, previously charities such as Thurrock Foodbank, Dogs Trust and Cancer Research have thanked Stanley for his donations.
Residents of Thurrock have also been praising Stanley on social media for making fantastic creations spotted in local Thurrock communities including postbox toppers, lampost poppies, holiday decorations etc.
One resident wrote “thank you for helping make corringham a brighter place. It’s brillant I love it.”
Another resident of Stanford le Hope said “Thank you Stanley’s Crochet workshop for another amazing postbox topper, I’m sure all the boys and girls walking to Arthur Bulger Primary are going to love seeing this everyday.
