Swimmers from Thurrock Swimming Club participated in the first weekend of the Essex Championships. The swimmers, who train at Blackshots Leisure Centre with Impulse Leisure performed extremely well with many medals, personal best times and top 8 places achieved.
Many swimmers also achieved Regional qualifying times so Thurrock will be sending a large team to the Regional Championships in April & May.

Thurrock also enjoyed success in the 9/10 year old girls relays. Isabella Banwo Emily Georgieva, Esme Parkes & Poppy Ellingford finished 4th in the 4x50m medley relay and 8th in the freestyle event.
