Let’s Talk networking meeting

The session is an opportunity for Thurrock groups and organisations to come together: Giving an opportunity to showcase their service/ offer, share experiences, good-practice, learning from others and build relationships.
The focus of this session will be Training and we have speakers from:
- Multiply- Innovative offers to help adults across the UK to brush up their numeracy skills and boost their number confidence. Grants available to voluntary and community sector organisations of £3-10k
- Thurrock Community Adult College
- Thurrock Recovery College
- Thurrock CVS Launch Training Programme 2023

Equality Diversity and Inclusion Training

- What Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is and the responsibilities for community and voluntary sector organisations or groups
- What unconscious bias is and some of the things you can do to tackle it
- How diverse Thurrock’s population is
- How your organisation or group can help to support EDI
