Volunteer Reservist

Volunteers are currently required to assist hospitals across Mid and South Essex, especially in an emergency situation. The aim is to alleviate the work carried out by nurses, which can be undertaken by volunteers, for instance a Ward Runner to take items between wards or other parts of the hospital.

Help-Line Volunteer

DIAL is a disability information and advice line handling issues relating to any problem connected to disability.
A Volunteer Adviser can take on a variety of tasks, most will involve: Interviewing clients, either through face-to-face interviews or by telephone or email which will involve listening to the clients and letting the client explain their problem.

Aveley Volunteer Opportunity

There are different roles from helping to set up, marshals for vehicles and people, stand-ins for lunch and toilet breaks, etc. Volunteers can do an hour two, a.m. or p.m. or any time slot they can give us. We will appreciate any time people can do.
