Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund

The new phase of the fund will:

  • Support work that furthers the established strategic aims of the applicants in relation to diversity, equity and inclusion, and/or is community-led.
  • Offer core funding to museums, to offer greater flexibility and support embedded change in organisations. Grants will be of a similar size and duration to in previous years.
  • Enhance our learning from grantees and share this with the wider museum sector, for example foregrounding leading practice in funded museums and undertaking research with action learning sets.

Magic Little Grants

The Magic Little Grants fund reduces the work required for grass-roots organisations to access the funding they need to launch or strengthen their services.

Mid and South Essex Mental Health Inequalities Programme

The Fund was set up by NHS Mid and South Essex to support marginalised communities, helping to address health inequalities for people who have mental health problems, and is managed by Essex Community Foundation. 

It is for the benefit of residents of the following areas: Basildon, Braintree, Brentwood, Castle Point, Chelmsford, Maldon, Rochford,
Southend-On-Sea, and Thurrock

Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available to not-for-profit groups and organisations working in Mid & South Essex.
The programme will open for applications on 27 June 2023 on a rolling
basis with regular panel meetings.
Also, a webinar has been arranged for the 3 July 2023 from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm where interested groups can join to learn more about the programme.
