BATIAS Trustee

Trustees are asked to attend meetings every 6-8 weeks. Our meetings can be joined remotely via Zoom or attended in person. During the meetings trustees take part in discussions and make joint decisions on the strategic development of the Organisation. Trustees have a role of governance for the organisation ensuring that the service meets its objectives and contractual agreements.

Brand New Volunteer Roles

Volunteer Counsellor for Reach Out for Mental Health

Qualified Volunteer Counsellors to contribute to our specialist counselling services. As a volunteer counsellor, you will provide one-to-one counselling virtually and, when required, in person to individuals experiencing various suicidal thoughts. Your role is instrumental in helping clients identify and address challenges in their day-to-day lives to enhance their overall well-being.

Retail Assistant for St Luke’s Hospice Charity Shop

They are looking for volunteers to support them in the running of their shop, located in Chadwell St Mary. This is an excellent opportunity to build skills, confidence and to socialise  in a friendly community shop.

General Christmas Volunteer (one off event) for Tilbury Riverside Projects

Help is required on 1st December 2023 between 4pm – 7pm at Civic square in Tilbury. 
Volunteers will be required to support in marshalling the event. Warm drink and mince pies will be provided, this is an outdoor event so warm clothes will be required
