On Friday 14th June, the Volunteer Coordinator supported a group from Hassenbrook school at a litter pick at Hardie Park, Stanford le hope.
The students ranged in ages and were joined by teachers, support staff, the head and governors to complete the task. They were a credit to their school and all participated in an organised and mature manner.
The students said, “I feel proud that I have helped clean an area” and “I feel like I have achieved something”.
Hardie Park was pleased with the additional help in keeping this beautiful community space clean from litter.
