Following our previous launch event of the Thurrock Community Fund, we are pleased to announce Phase 1 of the resilience fund is now open! Here is information about the fund and how to apply below:
Thurrock Community Fund – Phase 1: Resilience Fund
Who can apply:
The Resilience fund is open to the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sector organisations.
About this funding:
The Resilience Fund aims to support and strengthen the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sector who are the key to a strong, healthy and well connected community
The fund will support five organisations who will each receive £9000 of resilience funding, paid over three instalments to help improve their financial resilience (e.g. business planning, growth strategy, fundraising strategy, a new service model).
The fund will provide core funding for all five organisations and can be used to enable engagement in a peer support programme with each other.
A separate pot of funding will be held by Thurrock CVS to create a development support programme. This can be used by the groups for support to enable the delivery of the programme objectives (e.g. Facilitation, Training, Speakers, Visits, Software, Venues, Catering).
To qualify for this funding, organisations must be members of Thurrock CVS, deliver their services in Thurrock and meet the funding criteria.
Closing dates for application is 15th July 2024.
