Across our communities, many voluntary and community organisations are working tirelessly to address food insecurity — through food banks, community pantries, surplus food redistribution, community cafés, and hot meal provision.
This Thurrock Food Network Workshop will bring together local charities, community groups, social enterprises, and support services to:
- Connect with others tackling food poverty.
- Collaborate on how to share surplus food, skills and resources.
- Coordinate local efforts to maximise impact and reduce duplication.
- Co-create a stronger, more resilient community food network.
By working together, we can ensure good food reaches those who need it most — reducing waste, sharing resources, and supporting wellbeing.
