We recently held our AGM on Wednesday 20th November. This was a successful event and attended by a wide variety of sector representatives and partners, as well as CVS staff and trustees.
The evening opened with a market stall networking opportunity with a number of organisations showcasing their services before the AGM began.
Mike Kelly, Chair of Thurrock CVS Trustee Board, opened the AGM with a video montage taken from the ‘30 Second Thursdays’ campaign, which helped to showcase and celebrate the contribution made by the voluntary and community sector in Thurrock. Click here to see the video.
Mark Tebbs, CEO of Thurrock CVS, who has been in post since June 2023 spoke about the role of Thurrock CVS, The Beehive Resource Centre and the community it serves. Mark introduced the new 2024-28 TCVS Strategy ‘Connecting Voices + Collective Action = Collaborative Change’. View the Strategy here.
The meeting was followed by the Thurrock Voices Choir and a hot buffet provided by the South Essex College.
