Mel Huggins, Thurrock’s Physical Activity Coordinator, attended the event and shared: “It was great to join the Meandering Monday-led walk with T100 Festival on Monday, 12th May. This was a ‘river special’, as we had two opportunities to enjoy the views of the River Mardyke and the River Thames during the circular route taking us on a short loop of Purfleet on Thames.
After the walk we had the chance to enjoy a cuppa, kindly hosted by Riverview Charitable Trust at St Stephens Church. It was a perfect opportunity to explore the area, meet new people, and enjoy some conversation.”
