On Friday, 6th June, we proudly hosted a heartwarming awards ceremony to honour the outstanding volunteers nominated from across Thurrock. This special event brought together organisations, nominators, and nominees in a shared celebration of dedication, compassion, and community spirit.
Each nominator had the chance to share their heartfelt reasons for putting forward their volunteer—stories that highlighted the inspiring impact these individuals make every day. Every nominated volunteer was recognised with a well-deserved award, celebrating their hard work and commitment.
The event was a standout moment during Volunteers’ Week, and we were delighted to be joined by MP for Thurrock Jen Craft, who personally congratulated each volunteer and thanked them for their remarkable service.
It was an unforgettable evening of appreciation, connection, and gratitude for those who give so much to others. We are incredibly proud of all the volunteers who make Thurrock a stronger, kinder place to live!
